As anyone who has ever embarked on a new chapter of their life knows, when there’s a big life change going on sometimes other things fall through the cracks. In 2014, Bridget realized she was in a major rut. She had been so focused on growing her family that she wasn’t spending enough time on herself. Bridget felt like she lacked ‘umph’ but wasn’t sure what to do about it.
Two years prior Bridget had her son Brandon and put on a lot of weight during pregnancy. After Brandon was born she felt directionless beyond caring for him. Fitness and nutrition felt like a chore; one that she didn’t have time for. She wasn’t able to lose the extra pregnancy weight and didn’t think she would ever be able to progress.
